Jack Mkhitarian

I’m Jack Mkhitarian, a dedicated criminal defense attorney deeply committed to protecting the rights of my clients. My journey into law began at the University of New Mexico Anderson School of Management, where I laid the groundwork for my legal career. Following my passion for justice, I pursued my legal education at the University of New Mexico School of Law, shaping my expertise in criminal defense.

Since establishing a practice in Albuquerque in 2009, I’ve focused exclusively on criminal defense, striving to provide unwavering support and representation to those facing legal challenges. Licensed in New Mexico, I’ve expanded my reach to federal courts, including the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals and the United States District Court for the District of New Mexico. As an active member of the United States District Court’s Criminal Justice Act (CJA) Panel of Attorneys, I’m dedicated to upholding the principles of fairness and justice in every case I handle.

With over 1000 cases handled, I’ve developed a deep understanding of New Mexico’s legal landscape, having appeared in courts statewide.
