Kenneth Gleria

Kenneth Gleria

I’m Kenneth Gleria, and I’ve dedicated my legal career to criminal defense, driven by a passion for justice and a commitment to protecting the rights of my clients. My journey into law began at the University of California, Los Angeles, where I laid the foundation for my academic pursuits. Later, I pursued my legal education at the University of Utah College of Law, shaping my expertise in criminal defense.

Establishing my practice in Albuquerque in 1997, I’ve focused exclusively on criminal defense, striving to provide unwavering support and representation to those facing legal challenges. Licensed in both New Mexico and Utah, I’ve expanded my reach to federal courts, including the United States Supreme Court, the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the United States District Court for the District of New Mexico.

As an active member of the United States District Court’s Criminal Justice Act (CJA) Panel of Attorneys, I’m involved in the defense of indigent criminal defendants in federal court. Handling over 900 cases in federal court for clients charged with a wide array of federal criminal offenses, I bring extensive experience and expertise to every case I take on.

Appointed by the Chief United States District Judge in 2004, I continue to serve as the CJA Panel Attorney Representative for the District of New Mexico, upholding the highest standards of legal representation. I have handled over 4000 cases handled in New Mexico State Courts, including District Courts, Metropolitan Court, and Magistrate and Municipal Court.

Regularly appointed by the Judges of the Bernalillo County District Court to arbitrate case resolutions, I am committed to finding fair and just outcomes for my clients. In every case, I stand ready to fight for justice and protect the rights and freedoms of those I represent, empowering them with the knowledge and support they need to navigate their legal challenges with confidence.
